Do you build online shops?
No. I only build brochure websites: present what you do, build trust, and encourage people to get in touch. No online sales, no shopping cart, no payments on the site. If you need an online shop, I can point you to partners.
Do you also redesign existing websites?
Yes. Whether it’s your first site or refreshing one that’s already online, the approach is the same: a clear, credible, contact-first brochure site — still with no online shop.
How does a project work, step by step?
We talk about your business and needs, I send a tailored quote, then we prepare copy and visuals together. I build the site, you approve it, and I handle go-live. If you update the site yourself, I show you how in a short walkthrough.
How is the quote calculated?
Every project is quoted individually after an initial conversation. The price depends on your brief: number of pages, level of customisation, whether you can update text and photos yourself or not, and any other specific needs. You get a clear quote with no hidden extras.
How long until my site goes live?
Usually a few weeks, depending on the number of pages and how quickly you approve copy and photos. We agree on a clear timeline after the first conversation — no surprises on timing.
Do you work remotely or in person?
I work with clients across France — video calls, phone, and email. I’m based in Nantes; an in-person meeting can be arranged if needed.
What do you need from me?
Copy, photos, and your logo come from you — it’s your business. If you’re short on material or don’t know where to start, I help you shape your messages, choose visuals, or put your ideas into words. We move forward together, at your pace.
I don’t have a logo, photos, or copy yet — is that a problem?
No, it’s not a blocker. Many projects start with little material. I help you shape your messages and move forward step by step. For a logo or photos, we can also bring in other professionals if you’d like.
Can I update my site myself?
You can update the site yourself only if that’s included in your quote. Whenever I handle changes for you, each request gets a quoted estimate upfront — no surprises.
Who owns what?
I own the site’s code and grant you the right to use it as part of our working agreement. Your text and photos remain yours: they are your content, your identity. This split is explained clearly before the project starts.
Do you help with the domain name (www.mysite.com)?
I can purchase the domain for you, in your name. It stays yours — it’s your business address, not mine. I then connect it to your site.
Who handles go-live, hosting, and maintenance?
I handle all of it: go-live, hosting, security, and ongoing maintenance. You don’t manage anything on your side. A monthly flat fee covers this — your site stays online, up to date, and secure, without you worrying about day-to-day technical upkeep.
What does the monthly fee include?
Hosting, security, maintenance, and keeping your site online. You don’t install or monitor anything on your side. Site changes (a new page, redesigning a section, etc.) are quoted separately.
Can I cancel the monthly fee or change plans later?
Yes. Cancellation and change terms are set out clearly before we start. If you want to grow your site (new pages, a different setup), we talk it through and I quote accordingly.
What is search engine optimisation (SEO)?
Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the set of good practices that help your site show up in Google results when someone searches for a business like yours. In practice: clear titles, copy that explains what you do, a readable structure, a fast site that works on mobile. This isn’t paid advertising — it’s about “organic” visibility. I don’t promise page one overnight, but your site is built with these essentials from day one.
Will my site show up on Google?
Yes: thanks to the baseline SEO built into your site (see the question above), Google can understand what you do and show it to people searching for your services. First results can take a few weeks to settle — that’s normal. I don’t sell a “guaranteed number one package”: no one can honestly promise that.
Does the site work well on mobile?
Yes. Your site is designed to read comfortably on phone, tablet, and desktop. We check how it looks before go-live — that’s where most visits come from today.
Who writes the legal notice and privacy policy?
I provide baseline pages tailored to your situation (publisher, contact, hosting). You review and complete them if needed. For sensitive activities or legal doubts, I recommend having the text checked by a legal professional.
